Final Twilight TCG to be released by Neo Productions!

April 22, 2004 -- Neo Productions Unlimited, an independent software and game publisher, announces the upcoming release of their first fantasy trading card game Final Twilight with its first limited run set, Trinity! A modern fantasy story featuring classical fantasy characters, Final Twilight has something for almost every gamer!
The game, a trading card game by definition, is a combination of several gaming types and, to a degree, genres. Mechanically, the game borrows from role playing games, utilizing defined characters in deck construction and game design. Combat also borrows from traditional role-playing, using a six sided die and modifiers from equipment and spells to determine the outcome of a battle. Using Location cards to form a gaming board, players navigate the sprawling city of New Metropolis to achieve objectives or defeat their opponents in hand to hand or spell to spell combat!
While the story is a modern fantasy, the characters herald from traditional fantasy. Noble heroes, modern knights, cruel sorcerers with dark designs, fantastical weapons and feats of mysticism and heroism fill a world on the brink of darkness, awaiting a hero to save it or a dark soul to claim it for him or herself!
Trinity, the first novel and expansion of Final Twilight, is the story of Mark Jarus, a vigilante mage and the last of his kind trying to unravel a mystery before the dark truth behind it engulfs humanity in an eternity of darkness.
Manipulating strings and working from the shadows, the smooth talking and cryptic Charles Faust works to unleash this darkness by playing Mark, the criminal syndicates of New Metropolis, and a young hunter as though they were no more than mere pawns in a celestial game of chess.
The hunter, a young woman and accomplished warrior named Kerra Neil, is on a quest of her own. Orphaned during a battle between rouge sorcerers, she was raised in a shadowy organization of similar individuals, trained to hunt and kill mages for the greater defense of humanity. Little does she realize, it may be one of these mages she was raised to hate who might be the last chance humanity has.
The limited edition pre-constructed decks, to be released near the end of May, feature each of the three prominent characters from the novel Trinity. Decks contain all of the materials a player needs to begin, needing only an opposing player to duel! Decks include 54 cards, 1 six sided die and a rulebook.
